perfect proximity to parks and city landmarks for walks
During my stay, I was delighted by the hotel's closeness to Millennium Park, just a quick stroll away where I enjoyed beautiful views, and the fantastic Chicago Cultural Center, only a 10-minute walk, making it easy to explore city art and culture without any hassle. Taulant at the concierge even went above and beyond to help us with a last-minute wardrobe emergency, making us feel truly cared for during our visit.

We had a fantastic time exploring the city, especially riding the Chicago L train with my three grandkids. The spacious room had a beautiful river view, and the friendly staff consistently made us feel welcome. Plus, the rooftop bar was a highlight for relaxing evenings.
In my children’s opinion, a small arcade or play area would be great for families.

Family getaway, pretty decent stay
The location? Couldn't be better really, right at the corner with State Street, and just a short walk to N Michigan Avenue! Plus, the bed was comfy enough to sleep like a baby, looked forward to that every night.
It definitely wasn’t cheap, but you know what? It still felt acceptable for what we got.

It was a commendable fit for a holiday in Chicago at a reasonable price. The river view rooms were awesome for relaxing evenings. Opt for the early check-in if you can, they had our room ready well before noon.

I had a great stay at Renaissance in Chicago! The rooftop bar offered stunning views of the skyline, a perfect spot to unwind with a drink after a long day. The location near the riverwalk made sightseeing super convenient. My room, the King Room River View, was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor that added to the experience. However, the restaurant service was frustratingly slow, and I noticed they were short-staffed during busy meal times. It felt like the staff was overwhelmed at times, especially when demand picked up. Despite that, the food I had was enjoyable. I also wish I had better communication regarding room amenities upon check-in. I found that I was not made aware of the free wi-fi in public areas and other features until later. Overall, a strong stay with some room for service improvements!
